THE 26TH INTERNATIONAL JEWELRY DESIGN CONTEST 2026

CALL FOR ENTRIES – OVERSEAS CATEGORY

The Korea Jewelry Design Association (KJDA) is pleased to announce the 26th International Jewelry Design Contest 2026.

The contest aims to discover creative jewelry designs and promote international exchange in the field of jewelry design.

We warmly invite jewelry designers, students, and artists from around the world to participate and share their creativity through innovative jewelry design.

1. THEME: “GYEOL (결)”

Grain, Texture, and Flow

“Gyeol” is a Korean concept representing the patterns, textures, and flows formed through time, repetition, and accumulated experiences.

In jewelry design, Gyeol extends beyond surface patterns to express craftsmanship, structure, emotions, memories, and the traces of time.

Inspired by the structural and expressive qualities of Hangeul, the Korean writing system, this year's contest explores the relationship between tradition and modernity, technology and emotion, and craftsmanship and creativity.

Participants are encouraged to freely interpret the theme and express their unique artistic perspectives through jewelry design.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Overseas Category is open to foreign nationals residing in South Korea or abroad.

Students, professional jewelry designers, artists, and individuals interested in jewelry design are welcome to participate.

※ Eligibility is determined by nationality, not place of residence.

3. SUBMISSION DEADLINE

November 6, 2026 (Friday)

6:00 PM (Korea Standard Time, UTC+9)

All applications must be submitted by the deadline.

Required Documents:

Completed Application Form (Word file), including jewelry design or artwork images inserted according to the provided application form format.

How to Apply:

1. Download the Word application form attached to this announcement.

2. Complete all required information in the application form.

3. Insert your jewelry design or artwork images into the designated sections of the Word application form.

4. Submit the completed Word application form with the artwork images by email before the deadline.

※ All artwork images must be submitted in accordance with the format provided in the attached Word application form.

5. ENTRY FEE

Free of Charge (Overseas Category Only)

No entry fee is required for the Overseas Category.

6. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS

November 27, 2026 (Tentative)

Results will be announced on the official website of the Korea Jewelry Design Association (KJDA).

7. AWARD CEREMONY

8. IMPORTANT NOTES

* All submitted works must be original creations.

* Entries must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

* Previously commercialized works or works that have received awards in other similar competitions are not eligible.

* The same work must not be submitted simultaneously to another competition.

* All information provided in the application form must be true and accurate.

* Applicants must comply with the official contest regulations.

* Award-winning works may be used by the organizer for contest-related promotional purposes.
